They were established in 1950 and are part of Hudaco Industries Limited . They have been synonymous with pumps for over 70 years and have a  reputation for supplying a quality and reliable product.

Mather + Platt has the following three trading divisions which supply pumps, spares , repairs and testing :-

• Hypower Pumps
• Benmacor Pumps
• Mather + Platt Pumps

Mather + Platt has a Agreement with Mather + Platt Pumps India for the supply of pumps and spares to new and existing markets.  They also manufacture locally a range of spares for their pump range.

The Division supplies genuine Mather + Platt pump spare parts and undertakes repairs and refurbishment to its wide range of existing pumps.
Each Division operates through a Distributor Network in major towns of South Africa.
